Post-Training Smoothie!


This is the perfect recovery smoothie as it hits all the bases we need for recovery! 


1. Rehydration 


2. Provides amino acids to upregulate muscle protein synthesis (PLUS having a protein source enhances rehydration, as the protein slows the digestion process giving your body more time to absorb that water and electrolytes! 😉) 


3. Provides carbohydrate for glycogen re-synthesis (better yet, using a combination of glucose and fructose which is most optimal for this process!)

1/2 scoop of vanilla whey
2 tbsp yoghurt
Handful of frozen berries
1 banana
Coconut milk
Dessicated coconut
