Breaded Turkey Burgers


These turger burgers make a delicious lunch or dinner. Serve with avocado, sliced beef tomato, fresh red onion,  cheese, homemade coleslaw (check out our recipe!), wrapped in a large Romaine lettuce leaf. If you are having a moderate/high carb meal, roasted sweet potato wedges makes a delicious addition to these burgers! 


Makes 4-6 patties




• 400g turkey mince (Make sure it's 100% Irish!)

• 1 egg

• 1 white onion (diced finely)

• 60g oats (blended to flour in the Nutribullet)

• Dash of garlic salt 

• Salt and pepper




Mix all ingredients by hand, adding the oat flour gradually, until mixture can be formed into firm patties

Use any remaining oat flour to coat the outside of the burgers to create that breaded effect


Fry patties on a well oiled pan (coconut oil or olive oil) until golden brown and cooked thoroughly
