Tell me more about The Fit Clinic.. 

 

​The Fit Clinic is a team of nutritionists who work one-to-one with our members to help them reach their lifetime body composition and health goals. Together we find a system that works for you, a system that is easy to follow, easy to incorporate into your day to day life and most importantly enjoyable and sustainable! 

How much does nutrition coaching with The Fit Clinic cost?

 

Nutrition coaching with us costs €99 per month (for a minimum of 3 months). 

 

Why is there a minimum commitment of 3 months? 

 

We ask for a minimum of 3 month's commitment as this is the minimum amount of time required for you and your coach to learn how your body works, how it responds to nutrition, to create long lasting habits, see results, and most importantly enable you and your coach to find a sustainable system that works for you (a system that will last you for a lifetime). 

How do your prices compare to the rest? 

 

If you compare our prices to the cost of a one-to-one consultation with a nutritionist, it is similar to a consultation per month. However, with our system, you will receive much more contact with your coach (once per week on your check-in day and unlimited email contact outside of your check-in) and at a high frequency (And remember, success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out, so that frequent contact is paramount to your success). Additionally, this program is designed to teach you what works for your body in the long term, so you will no longer need to waste money on methods that only bring short term success. We want you to leave us and never have to wonder 'Should I eat this food?' 'What should I be eating post-workout?' 'What supplements should I be taking?'. We will make sure you leave knowing absolutely everything you need to know!

Do you provide training plans?

No, we are nutritionists - We stick to what we're great at :) But we will adjust your nutrition to fit your own training program.  

Do you work with people who do not exercise?

Yes, absolutely. While exercise is important, it's only a small part of the jigsaw when reaching your goals. Just because you are not exercising does not mean that you cannot change your body composition and health. Arguable, nutrition plays a greater role than exercise in reaching your ultimate goals, so it's no reason to not get started. 

Do you work with people who do not exercise?

Yes, absolutely. While exercise is important, it's only a small part of the jigsaw when reaching your goals. Arguable, nutrition plays a greater role than exercise in reaching your ultimate goals, so it's no reason to not get started. 

What makes The Fit Clinic different to other nutrition coaches? 

 

Nowadays, absolutely anyone online can call themselves a nutritionist (which is a little scary). However, coaches at The Fit Clinic are as qualified as they come, with a minimum of a Masters qualification in Nutrition, overseen by Dr Michelle Hone (PhD). Check out our coach's biographies here, and see their list of credentials and experience which qualify them to provide the absolute best in advice and support to each and every one of our members. 

Do you just teach 'macro' counting? 

 

Using macronutrient prescription is only a small component of what we do. We are qualified nutritionist and therefore understand that food is so much than carbs, fats and protein. We also understand the physiology of the human body and how it responds to nutrients. Giving someone a set of 'macros' to stick to is not harnessing the full power and potential of nutrition, it is only a small part of the puzzle. To reach optimal health, a greater understanding of nutrition is necessary, and we want teach that to each of our members. In addition, if you come to us with IBS, PCOS, underactive thyroid, or all of the other issues we see very often, giving you carbs, fats and proteins targets to stick to won't get you very far. Check out everything else that you will receive when you become a member and what issues we work with here.

Do you provide meal plans?

Meal plans are a great way to get 'hard and fast' short-term results. However, this is not what we're looking to achieve with our members. At The Fit Clinic we want to educate you about nutrition and find a system that works for you. A meal plan is not a system. It is not something that you can carry with you over your lifetime. Meal plans are rigid, repetitive and are guaranteed to leave you fed up and bored after a few weeks. Instead we cultivate better habits around food, to ensure that you can continue to enjoy the foods you love, be sociable and live your life! 

Is your service individualised? 

 

The Fit Clinic is a coaching system that is tailored to  your body, your needs and your goals. This is not a once off plan, it is a tried and tested system, in which you will receive constant support. This is the key to getting results - Consistency, and a constant back-and-forth relationship between you and your coach. It takes time for your coach to get to know you, and what approach and system that will work best for you. This is how we can call our plans entirely tailored and individualised to you.
